You're getting awfully deep into your psyche. It's a wonderful bit of exploration but don't forget the way out. We can't have you wandering around in there forever. :-))

Dear Pierre, master of all symmetries, cubic forms etc.

Hell? Where? Where are the flames, bitter tears, pain, sulfur fumes?

You... who have created the image, wait for a moment... look at the center, there is a fresh, tiny face: two eyes, a round nose and a similing mouth with a little beard or long hair, the mouth is like a half moon, besides the two little ears around closing the composition, it seems the pretty face of a puppy!.

The man thinks whether to enter? really? I would not doubt... if it's this kind of lobby to hell, it looks as good as "Highway to Hell" by AC / DC, and these good feelings and adrenaline like in the song... there, we all go!

I like the tones of the colours, no large dark areas without any details and the man remains in one third. I would take a look at this hell really, one look at your lobby, ain't no fear :)

I think you're not thinking about hell, you're in peace with yourself!

Congrats for the image! Kindest regards, Laura Marco

I too am left wondering where are the flames.  Before viewing larger, it looked like a fly with large eyes!

Jack,

I skipped the purgatory in a rush to see how the hell looks like and now I'm hesitating whether to enter (it's free entrance there) or to skip the purgatory again and jump into the Heaven where I belong! Only one has to have very mighty connections for it because the entrance is very limited there, ha!

Thank you for your witty comment!

Dear Laura,

No flames in the lobby, no sulfur, no weeping and screaming...only that cute like a poppy door to deceive people like me! But I won't go in there, the puppy look isn't persuasive enough and after all why should I enter in the puppies jaws! I'll leave him a bone or two and escape back to Heaven, I have a ticket for there in fact, just was curious!

Thank you for your thorough elaboration and the flattering parts in your comment! Me master of...anything, sounds good to my vain ears!

Best regards

Thank you, Kathy!

Your woman's intuition told you something you could never see, the background (the lobby of hell) is made out of a macro of an eye! And no flames because it isn't the hell, just the lobby as I said before!

Thank you for your precious visit and comment!

The human male body at the lobby of hell tells me that we are all tempted to do the earthy thing but with time we all learn, sooner or later to be loving! That is why we all reincarnate millions of times until we learn to love! Mainly we learn when we reincarnate as women over and over, to have children and to love unconditionally! Now we are starting to love our family of humanity as we do here in PN without seen each other we have become a family...and you as a very important member, because of your creativity! warm regards my friend.

Thank you Rosario,

The humor is a mean of communication and resolving absurd situation easily! The absurd here was that my intended to be intimidating entrance to hell background was seen as a puppy and fly, ha!

Best

Thank you Patsy,

I wish it was as you say, the non stopping wheel...but this is an old picture, alas! The wheel has stopped long time ago! Hope it will be mended soon!

Cheers to that!

Dear Jorge,

You put it well! I only don't understand why we don't remember our previous lives, the learning would be much easier and shorter that way! As it is, we spent millions of dull lives and learn nothing! I would really like to be born again with all my memories and knowledge well preserved, so I wouldn't do the same mistakes as I did in this life!

Thank you for your genial thoughts!

Hmm, like a visit to the E.N.T. Specialist .. (private joke) ..!

Man in contemplation, his senses bared to reduce all prejudice. Unfortunately, choices are often made for us, however that only increases the necessity to determine our own future when we can.

The graphic elements fit well, the tones and texture too.  The only thing that has me wondering is the direction faced by the man. In the Western world we read a message left to right, which makes me imagine that he is looking back and contemplating the past, whereas the future is what matters, but tomorrow I might see this differently, as I often do your images.
