This is a really well composed photo that creates a wonderful illusion of vast, open space. The tracks lead us right into the crossing diagonal. Texture and tone are equally superb.

Merci bien my friend.I was lucky to find the beach undisturbed save for these tracks.I shot quickly because Caramelle was soon all over the place and the smooth suface was gone.Had there been a better/cloudy sky,I might have been tempted to stay in color.Glad you like.

Thank you so much for the kind appreciation.This beach is well oriented for good cloudy sky shots in the late afternoon,but on this day,the sky was clear so I stayed close to the ground with my shots.
