A little too flat.  Lost the texture of the bark on the trees, and the saturation of the green branches.

Is this more like what you had in mind? I see your point. I appreciate your periodic comments on my photos but I can't disagree with others on the site who have, more or less, characterized you as an arrogant, vain, a--hole. Hope to see more of your own work on PN in the days ahead. Finally, is it really necessary to preface everything with Hmmmm...? I put Wite Out over it on my screen every time I see it and it is really messing up my screen.

Just for discussion though, and I admit I may have hit the contrast a tad too much, see how you like the attached.

I think yours works also. I've dabbled with my redwood images so much that I am beginning to lose my sanity .... and their are more to come! Thanks for taking the time to work on it.  Jim
