A fascinating overlay of colors and forms.. I like the way the detailed color portions penetrate the more monotone upper section. This has a bit in common with the unconditioned freedom of expression you find in the artwork of young children

Very creative work, Michael. Clever overlay of layers gives the illusion of depth, while the rectangular boundaries provide structure to the image. Although apparently cluttered, it gives a great sense of harmony. Into my favorites. May be you should offer it for sale.

This is a delight. I particularly like the way parts of the image seem to defy the rectangular boundaries while the boundaries themselves don't separate but seem to bind together disparate images. It feels to me a bit like a homage to the elements and the contrast of home and away.

I am most grateful to all of you for taking your time to view and comment on this image. It is a composite of several others, which two of you viewed a s a collage.

Warren and Alfredo - I'm glad you found elements you believe to be strong points.

Jack - "Unconditioned expression of freedom" . . .  I wish that I honestly could use this phrase to describe my abstract work.  For now, it's something to which I aspire.

Supriyo - It's interesting that you felt a sense of harmony among the disparate and apparently cluttered items within the frame.  Honestly it didn't dawn on me  while I was working on the image to evoke that sense.  Right now I can be happy with what may be a happy accident.

Fred - You hit the nail on the head.  Disparate images, each of which may address a different aspect of a person's ordinary experience, as a whole nonetheless may bind those aspects together.  I'll have to think a bit more about the contrast between home and away, though.
