Lovely cat, you can tell he/she is trying to figure out what you are doing. Nice shot!

I feel as if this would have worked better if the cat were engaged with something off camera rather than it starring straight at you. The crop seems too tight on top and bottom. I love the depth of field rendering that sliver of focus centered on the forward vertical of the opening. The B&W tones are very nicely handled. nice work.

I must say that you had very good contact with your model. Your combination of soft blur and razor sharp focus catches my eye in a pleasant way and your choice of bw ads to the calm impression. Well done.
