Today's Nature Photo

I caught a good shot of this Blue Heron as it was banking for a flight

into the forest. All the elements seem to fall into place on this shot

with light and contrast, composure and lines, angles of trees. A

little luck, bit of skill and a good fast lens and camera. Shot with a

Canon 6D and Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8.. Not a bad bird photo for only a

200mm zoom. I was pretty close to this guy. Lucky day. Just wanted to

share with my peeps here on Photo.net. Comments welcome, Thanks for

Surprisingly good clarity and sharpness considering the relatively poor light!
