undulating terrain with flowering heath

I like the feeling of a hot summer day out on the heath. The colors are subtle but covey that summer feeling very well - at least for me. Focus seems to be in the very foreground, rendering the dirt road and golden grass in the ditch in great detail, but leaving most of the remaining image out of focus. I might have cropped the road and used a smaller aperture to get bth the grass and the heath with acceptable detail. I also would have cropped the poor tree on the left side of the frame that got split in half.

Sometimes things go wrong, especially this shot which was taken from a bumping up & down horse-drawn chart... but that's no excuse, just a fact of life.
