Can't put my finger on it... doesn't exactly seem out of focus but, the horse's face is not clear & feels like it should, rather than 'blurred' (may not be the right word for it)  The eyes & blaze aren't clear.  But, maybe just cus of distance & the horse's movement.

based on your data provided. I would say it was the f/2  and you were a bit to far away from subject.  usually 1250 /sec should handle most movement.  just my 2 cents.
