I also posted this image in the monthly project and also received suggestions of crop. I am still debating... Although I understand that people see the jet ski as being the main subject and therefore suggest cropping to move it off center, I look at the jet ski being part of the circle and the circle being the subject. Cropping the left side puts the circle in the center... But it is definitely just my personal perception... Thanks for your input as it reinforces what was mentioned by others and forces me to reevaluate.

I like the image a lot, there is a scene, the moment and feeling. Great technique and quality as usual with your photos. The tone and shade also fit very well. Concerning the cropping to square format, I would mention it too. The square format may bring the circle to the centre, but due to the main object it will be visually out of centre, and will be more pleasant to the eye (imo). At the moment the circle is out of centre but because the main object is in the centre it looks like centered object.
