What do you think about my second macro photography?

is it sharp enough? I could not get any closer since my sigma lens can

only focus from 40 cm distance - this was at the 200 mm end with f 5,6.

What is good and what is bad about this photo?

it is overdone in ps.it looks like a drawing

i like the smooth colorfull background.

we have here a strong color contrast, and that is not for everybody, but I like it.wel ldone!

It's a good macro photo. Good cropping. The green doesn't look natural, so it's a minus for me. The background is blurred fine, but it's too complex. I'd prefer it to see a more uniform color (even a green grass). And finally, a polished (broom ?) stick makes it an unlikely candidate for this grasshoper to land on naturally.

it was natural shot - I was on a sail boat , woke up in the morning and it was there - no kidding. and afterwards I could not get rid of it when I wanted to sail. really - anyweay thanks for your input, seee you sometime ( virtually)
