Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted August 16, 2014 My photo shoot took me to Youngstown Ohio, in the middle of a depressed steel town, the place never really regained its status. All around you we see burned out homes, foreclosed homes and the streets look like a war zone. In the middle of this destruction is a preserved wet lands. I took that opportunity to snap some images. charo 3 Posted August 16, 2014 They say there is light after the tunnel ... The Eart has still opportunities. I like the effect you've achieved here, the colors and surreal touch. Is it infrarred?Regards,Rosario. Link to comment

Gerald Cafferty 83,389 Posted August 18, 2014 Great IR photo, I assume you have a converted camera. I would love to have details of your gear, my IR attempts are using an Hoya R72 filter. This gives images with a strong red cast which is difficult to use other than converting to B&W. If I use the filter with my Canon 60D a tripod is essential, but with my Fuji X100S which must be much more IR sensitive I can use handheld albeit at high ISO. Link to comment
