Larger view preferred for best detail. Indian Paintbrush is among

my favorite wildflowers. Fortunately, it is prolific at high elevations in

the American West. This is an image from 2008 that I reworked with

modest processing changes. This is in an effort to apply lessons

learned and newer software technology. Thanks in advance for your

comments. Larry

That's a nice patch of Paintbrush and well captured.  You've retained the natural look that makes me feel like I'm there... Mike

I have never come across this plant, but then it's not surprising living in the UK.

The larger view makes the flowers look almost tangible, as Mike indicates almost like being there!  Great sharp photo!

Best Regards

Alf,  Thanks for your visit.  Indian Paintbrush grows on mountains at higher elevations in the western U.S.  It has a bristly three dimensionality about it.  Best to you.  Larry
