Looks delicious Hannu.  Do you baste the fish with any sauce while cooking?  We would use lemon and herb butter most of the time.

Take care, David

Mike –Thank you for your kind words- that is the way to cook:) -if you have flat loose stones close.

I am happy to bring back memories to You Jack and just hope that you find a place where catching fish takes less work – but this year was just too hot- otherwise it is a paradise for catching char, trout but too high for grayling (Thymallus thymallus). We were out to catch char and trout with fly as the changes are really good for big ones over there, if conditions permit. Down the river there are lots of grayling – but we had made our decision after voting unanimously. For the landscape and experience it was still worthwhile.

David -we felt that the char is so delicious that you do not need more than salt -herbal salt at most. We had weight limitations per person because the last part was done by helicopter and everybody had high hopes of the big catch (as always;) we would have to transport back – so there was not too much extra food or cooking stuff with us as all were mostly worried of the trip back and mosquito repellents and extra clothing/gears - but we met maybe 0-3;) lol - thank You again - Hannu
