It was ceated some years ago, but it is the first time to be exposed in a galley.

 

The moto was: "When arts are meeting fashion".

 

It is exhibited in the Givetayim theater.

 

I was really surprised at the opening, when many visitors, completely strangers

to me, came to tell me that they find my work the best of the lote..

Creating in Photography

 

 

Photography for me is human life , his landscapes, surrounding, expression, fashion and creation ,and.... my observation through my camera lens. Part of it is a dialogue with artist creating in different mediums and languages, and part a dialogue with my inner world.

 

 

 

Dance/ focus

Is a dance that draw its contents from life pieces ,and changing them to a fantasy, which the body and movement are the expression tools. They are the row material for my commentary and creation .

 

 

Music

Contains so many talents- Composers, Musicians, Music tools- builders .Enriching our life, in all aspects of humanity , generations after generations.

 

 

Fashion style

Last but not least...fashion style is a very personal touch, especially women,(but in our era men as well.....;-))But still , women in this regard are above, and the most creative ever. Fashion has changed in different years : Hair cuts, as well as jewelry, different cloths materials and technique, but each era is signed with the creativity of its time. It can be seen in paintings, books, and especially- in photography!

I recognize many from viewing your previous posts.  Nice to see them all together.  Congratulations on your exhibit.  The symmetry of the display is challenged by the horizontal offering but still, good choices.  This shot proves the old adage:   "... the best camera is the one you have with you..."  I can't make out the text on the left but since it's probably in Hebrew it wouldn't do me much good anyway. :-)  A translation perhaps?  Stay safe.  Best, LM.

HI Pnina, congratulation of the exhibition. As you know I've always been a huge fan of this series. Having only ever seen these on a computer screen, I am envious of those who have the opportunity to see them in print.

I want to add my congratulations as well. This is such a fine series and I've always enjoyed this folder in your portfolio, the sensitivity and use of light. These photos have such a great feel to them and I'm glad they are being recognized.

Gord and Fred, thanks both of you, I know that both of you liked the series when it was created ( 2004 !). Can you imagine that Idid not exhibited it untill now.. I think I was relatively new to photography ,and was later on busy with going deeper into the medium..

 

 

 

I think that it was the right time for it .The curator of the exhibition have asked me to write about my way in photography. The PR woman liked it a lot too and it was a real publicity for me.

I recall this series and being impressed by the rich orange and yellow light.  Photographs are about managing light, even more so than painting I think.  The subtle blues here and there in the shadows were stunning.
