Late in Cora's Garden - St.Vincent

I was in Cora's property high up in a mountain in St.Vincent, it rained and the sun was setting. As the rain subsided I thought I had a photo op.  The bottom part of the orange-lit section in the sky  is part of the mountain range that is out of focus.

Well Tony, as I see it you've got a small star with a big heart.  Just beautiful!

I don't often offer anything other than compliments but Ii feel the band of bright lights above the flower is distracting from the beautiful flower and could be easily cloned out.

Kathy - I appreciate that perspective which is something I thought about. I was hoping to make a connection between the yellow flower and that orange band. I did make a landscape version of this image which excluded that  bright spot in the sky. All the best,

Kathy - here is one taken before the sun broke out and for me it lacks something. I may even delete it!

This is more muted which I like better.

Has a mood unlike most of the flower pictures in general! Well done, Tony!

I love this picture as it is. The orange area at the top, gives "flavor" to it. Nice composition and beautiful colors.
