LineMartel 6,260 Posted August 3, 2014 I got there at dawn hoping to get some sunrise shots...I took this shot at dawn in preparation for sunrise. It was too cloudy and therefore the sunrise was not bringing anything interesting. As it turned out, the prep shots taken at dawn ended up being my favorites...your comments and suggestions on improvement are welcome. Thanks, Line Link to comment
Bill J Boyd 64,575 Posted August 3, 2014 Line,An interesting shot. I was at this same location about Noon today. I have never tried shooting this at dawn, but I can recommend early evening when the building is lit with floodlights. Link to comment
alfbailey 2 Posted August 3, 2014 I think the darkness and partial cloud gives it a very Gothic like appearance, more in keeping with Count Dracula's castle than the state capitol building but a stunning photograph nonetheless!Best Regards Alf Link to comment
David-Wisse 5 Posted August 4, 2014 Hi drama for sure - but the composition and perspective are what please me the most.Best, David Link to comment
jmontgomery 0 Posted August 5, 2014 Certainly a mysterious feeling ... good use of B&W and development ... I do wonder about other crops that might minimize some of the building to the left ... no sure? You are certainly talented with a variety of subjects. Thanks for sharing Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted August 8, 2014 A most impressive and thoroughly rendered image. It has all of the necessary technical elements, a text-book cover no doubt! Congratulations on a truly exceptional piece of work.DG Link to comment
