Offensive title. Seems unnecessarily nasty. These are children. Not pawns to be made into a political statement, and a sorry one at that.

They are not "children". They were children; same as you and I, and given the opportunity to become adults; same as you and I.

I generally do not like descriptive/subjective titles. However, this one I succumbed to "Pro Choice Survivors" because when these children come to my mind I think of them as "Pro Choice Survivors".

Given the financial/marital situation of this mother-sister pair living with their struggling single mother in a very small home and all together just barely making it, then when I think of those children, to this day I think to myself, "whew; that was a close one". Anyone would.

But fortunate for the children this family's opinion of "Pro Choice" was in so many words, a rich white people's cop out.

Pro was not added to stir up debate. Perhaps the omission of "Pro" would have been better but "woman's right to choose" was strongly not this family's thing.

The issue between sides is not political, contrary to what  you say, but rather concerned with the principles of right and wrong and "right and wrong" are issues for debate.

"Nasty" smacks of hate and intolerance and leaves no room for debate.

Regardless of the side one is on, the last I heard, there is little question as to what defines life. However, "at what point does life become precious?" is the proper question and  point of contention.

Thank you for your input.
