Sentinels along the Road

Well the most obvious problem is over exposure., low contrast. And I in no way implying an HDR makeover, just working a dropping the exposure, raising the contrast a touch (which will increase saturation.  The only thing it really maybe sort of lacks is a clear object for size reference.

Thx for comment but histogram suggests that the problem is not over exposure. Additional contrast results in black blobs in the bark.

Use your EYES!  Histograms don't 'see' they just give averages.  Show this and your other 'Paths' photos to some of the old time REAL pros and get their opinion of the exposure in these, and what they say about histograms. 

My suggestion would be to buy Syl Arena's Light for Digital book and really really study it.
