Pierre...

Love the colors and your composition.  The colors are very rich, deep, and vivid.  Great shot...

WOW Pierre! !!!!  Absolutely fantastic.  Great DOF ,superb  details and clarity. A wonderful mixture of vibrant colors. Perfect BG . Well Done. Some photos like this focus too much on the center.  You have the right amount of petals to portray the overall beauty of the flower! !!!!!  (IMHO)  AJ

Well, Pierre, this is our kind of macro! Good dof, color composition etc. It  attests to the quality of the canon rebel and kit lens, not to mention the photographer, to produce something of this quality. Nice one!

Hi, Pierre!

Excellent red and yellow! I see you used F22 here. I hear our friend Mike's voice (saying to me, of course) that this lens' best performance is at F.... So I wouldn't shoot at this F stop. But it looks great.... I am confused... Warm regards, Tamara

Thank you AJ,

Your comment is also very usable for opposing Tamara's and uncle Mike's technical attitudes because the DOF and the clarity all over are achieved with the f/22!

Thank you Panayotis,

Your comment also helps for the opposing the claims of the optical science in tribute to the wide open aperture and also the practice, IE when I use the macro in scene mode the camera sets the widest possible opening!

Tamara,

this f stop only could obtain the all over sharpness in depth, as I said above, the maximum quality of the picture is here sacrificed to the DOF and nobody would have anything to say about the loss of the maximum lens performance according to the optical theory against small apertures, including you if the metadata wasn't shown!

Thank you for your contribution!
