Pierre Dumas 286 Posted July 25, 2014 I don't even know what the things are, but I'm delighted aesthetically! Best regards, Michael! PDE Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted July 25, 2014 Pierre, I shot this photo last summer at a summer camp outside of Cleveland, Georgia. The blue/white objects are Hebrew letters made from clay. The word they form is "kol," which means "voice" in English. Thanks for your interest and your kind words. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 25, 2014 I "read" it diferently, for me it is the casical music of the Israeli/jewish history with the chaine symbol around us (RHS) and the other one is like the direction against us. It is probably connected to the situation we are in ...but for me it is the feeling it evocks in me...Thanks for your comment on my last photo, as it is I cannot still answer from any of my filles (nearly10 days. !)so we shall see tomorrow..שבת שלום. michaellinder 16,613 Posted July 27, 2014 I am embarrassed by my ignorance. To me, the letters appeared to be in script, a kof and a lamed. That's how I derived "kol." Thanks for setting me straight. Link to comment
