Pierre Dumas 260 Posted August 24, 2014 All looks good, the model and the pose, the environment and the out of focus background! Beautiful fitting moderate colors! Best regards, Michael! PDE Link to comment
michael_d_davis 0 Posted August 24, 2014 My only suggestion is that I would have had her move to her left a bit more. To act as a stop if you will for the people looking at the photograph. Her expression is nice focus looks to be right Nice lighting. I like it. Link to comment
JohnWebster 2 Posted August 24, 2014 Good color and exposure and nice, soft 3-D lighting on her face. The brightness of her lower arms and thighs lead my eyes down and out of the composition. My "fix" for that issue is far from credible but it is only to demonstrate where I believe the attention should go in this portrait. In your original her bright thigh does balance with the bright part of the background to the right of her head. But all the bright spots are making me work too hard to center in on her face. If the bright areas were part of a story and had a reason for being I would understand. My upload is not meant to be an improvement on this image but only a suggestion about things to think about (at capture & in the computer) in your next portrait. I hope this is helpful. Good seeing and happy photographing in the future. Link to comment
mountaineer1965 0 Posted August 26, 2014 Too much depth of field...in my opinion that is. You captured a fantastic expression. I feel that a little work and this could be an outstanding image. Link to comment
