Having been away from the shows now for a couple of years, I'm sure the distinction of the "Rat Rod" has blurred some dependent upon the definition and the Classes by the shows sponsors and organizers.

So, I'm not sure where this one would fall but, I could certainly enjoy being the "Driver" of this one on any Friday or Saturday night!

Looks like it has "aged" better than I for a mid 50's vintage and certainly has more horsepower these days!

Cheers always,

Jim j.

These local shows are very small and there is usually little preoccupation with ''classes''.It is basically the ''Bring what you built'' category and the biggest winner is the People's choice award. This one is fits this perfectly as the chopped Ford cab was fitted onto a Chevy S-10 frame. The front grill was hand fabricated but I would have preferred some vintage sheetmetal from that Ford to maintain the theme.Somehow, the owner managed to secure registration with the absence of fenders which are mandatory, but as you note, the overall result is attractive.Again, thanks for the knowledgeable observation.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
