The owner of this Ratrod ingeniously fabricated the fenders for his

machine using discarted tires making for a very unique look in a true

hot-rodding tradition.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

No doubt this one is "Classed" a "Rat Rod!" And, as you indicate in your comment!

Not "boderline" like the 50's Ford PU with the Red stripe that I commented on earlier.

What's always facinated me is the "dollar amount" some of these creations can bring at auctions! And, I've noticed they're showing up more and more at stuff like the Barrett Jackson events.

And, I've had the priviledge of not only riding in a couple but also driving them a few years ago. One that I remember was a 1946 Chevy pickup body on an aftermarket running gear. Although still a Rat in appearance, it drove as well as any 2014 year car would!

Cheers some more!

This one has some amazing/ingenious features which I was given the opportunity to witness as the owner transformed it from its original life as a fire truck to this, hand fabricating everything from suspension to implanting its V8.The ass end of the truck is being transformed into a trailer which will eventuallyhook up on that ball sitting atop/through that drifwood stump. This rod could be the object(thinking) of a Presentation to highlight its many details down to the unique RAT ROD liscence plate. Thanks for the always welcomed observation.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
