Yes, Jack, these are not the scenes those who come here seeking the beautiful and the exotic expect to see. Even in rural areas like this things change. One favorite nature photography location has been covered over with an enormous concrete wall to prevent slipping, a tea field has been turned into a dump (some of it illegally), a garden and shed has been surrounded by bits of this and that to keep out wild boar (which are a real menace around here as elsewhere). I don't enjoy wandering out with my camera close to home as much as I used to.
