human images 2 Posted July 19, 2014 I louuufe this one : so marvelously understated makes the frame mucho erotic, brings the intimacy closer and imbues the scene terrifically voluptuous --- elegant visual choices all around mister Sideris. I also appreciate the artistic confidence in according all that wall space. It's just right! Link to comment
donna pallotta 107 Posted July 19, 2014 exquisitely erotic in its bare simplicity, Sweid... all lovely curves, and wrinkled bedding... and as Sir Carlos observes: the wall is sexy without being intrusive. brava to this model's fabulous body ;-} dp Link to comment
John Peri 1,007 Posted July 20, 2014 So often with your work Sweid, one tries to imagine the story behind the story .. the visual impact is dependent not just on the figure lying there, but also the setting, the creases on the empty pillows which reflects their recent use. Is it a case of seduction or abandonment, the viewer must decide. Certainly the erotic component which the others refer to is very present and I agree that the wall sets the boundaries, the "event horizon", within which the scene occurs, with no escape but slow, evolving dissolution (the physicist in you will understand). I always enjoy your images, they speak volumes on their own. Link to comment

wink_photo 0 Posted July 23, 2014 Sweid. I agree with Donna. Erotic. I like how the bedding flows with the subject and think the tone is great. For me, it has an almost voyeuristic feel. Great work. Dana... Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted July 24, 2014 I'm gladly surprised by your emotional words, perfectly representing my intentions when I pressed the shutter! Thanks a lot my friend. DonnaYour comments always are like a balsam for me, for sure she appreciate your flattering words. Me too, of course. JohnYou hit the nail again. There is a story in there, and, like every passionate story, it is full of joy and disappointing times. Like in the real world (is this image a glimpse of the real world? perhaps) every single ray of light and every single dot of darkness has a meaning. What I mean? Well, it is up to the observer, but a human story for sure, nobody ignore this tremendous fact. Again, my friend, you are a master reading underlines, what it's not written. That is the sense of the photography. DaniI like your "reading" way. Less is more, always, even beyond a simple photo on a screen. Now I know this, a bit late, but I know. I'm glad because you like it. DanaI am really flattered with your visit to my work, your words about the voyeuristic feel is an accurate description of us, the observers. Indeed, a photographer is a voyeur by definition. On the other hand, I recognize you as a sensitive and talented creator, so, your comment has a great value for me. Thank you. Link to comment
