Hand Feeding Chameleon

I would have sworn I was holding my hand at least another 5 inches

farther away for a really long tongue shot, but I guess I judged

wrong. I felt like I nailed the shot to begin with, but his tongue

stuck to my thumb for so long I would have had time to take at least

one more shot in this position.

You are the established master of the chameleons. Did it hurt? Was your thumb swallowed perhaps?

Thanks, Mosca. It didn't hurt too bad, but my thumb was yanked back with his tongue and got munched on a couple of times before he spit it out. My shoulder hurt from the yank more than anything.

Hope everybody knows I was kidding in my last post....
