Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 19, 2014 I thought I'd seen this before. The striking tones seem to place the staircase in another era, one with its roots in antiquity yet the whole remains surprisingly contemporary. Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted July 20, 2014 Thank you, Jack for your visit and comment. Yes, I visited this staircase four years ago, in 2010, and took a photo still in my folder. It is even interesting to me to see how differently I can see the same detail after four year and how different are two photos. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted July 20, 2014 Superb exercise in tonal control; Ansel would be proud. Compositionally, I think the image would be more compelling if flipped horizontally, but this may not be your cup of tea. Link to comment
wolfgangarnold 142 Posted July 24, 2014 Tonality is perfect - the balls seem to dance to the chord of the stairs. Link to comment
