Studebaker!  Don't see many of these.  Excellent shot and you've controlled the strong lighting well... Mike

The once proud make is no more but the few surviving specimens as this

My first car was a '53 Studebaker but as I remember,it consumed more oil than gas and I moved on to a more modern '54 Ford. The flatblack paint here turned out ok even in the midday sun.As rare as these are, there was another one in a pristine condition just around the corner but in a much more crowded setting(see attached).Thank you for viewing and for the kind appreciation.

This old beauty has a menacing feel to it. I wonder what it would look like in B&W? It conjurers up memories of my dad's 56 Studebaker. He inherited it from his dad and kept it in mint condition for decades. It was red and white.

This is my favorite in this series. I do prefer this one to the bw version. I love the orange brick line repeating the brick buildings. Perfect pov of the car. Great work!

I like the Flat Black "Studie" sitting amongst all that Red Brick and Blue Skies! It really sets the car off in your shot here.

I see a real nice Studebaker Hawk down the street when I take my morning walks. I've also seen it around town a couple of times so it's a "driver" for certain.

I remember growing up, the folks had a 1959 Studebaker Lark 2dr. Stationwagon. Would I ever like to have it now!

Cheers & Regards always,

Jim j.

Thank you kindly. For older car lovers as myself, these shows turn back the clock and provide a marvelous opportunity to reminescent on the "Good old times".

Thank you kindly.Seeing these now extinct brands does rattle our memories and makes us wish we had had the foresight to latch on to some of these as most were going for a bargain price at the time.It is good to see some of these survivors being put to regular service as daily drivers.

Thank you. This WA lense(my favorite) is a really good tool in cases as shows/expositions when the cars are parked very close to one another. This one was conveniently parked alone for the time of the shot.
