This photo is very interesting. I too like the lines. I think that you are right about blacking out the end....... but I think it needs to be more of a dark grey than true black. The black is to harsh/obvious, a dark grey would be more in keeping with the rest of the picture.

Personally, I think this is one of your very best. Its very well composed with excellent perpendiculars and outstanding tone. I see nothing wrong with the decision to black out the end. Its got a three dimensionality to it that I find very appealing. Good strong lines and good contrast.

TN - Your thought of using dark grey as pose to true black at the end of the tunnel is worth considering. Had I thought of it, I would have tired to see which worked best. Andy, as you well know, this image is way off my usual track, but the bridge presented itself, though hardly original, it was a first for me and a very nice change. Did have to run for my life soon after the camera click as a huge truck came roaring round the corner!

Thank you again everyone for taking the time to give me feed backs.

Yes, the subject is not very original (what is original on this Earth?), but your cropping made it interesting. Agree with Andy that black spot adds to 3D effect, together with all the lines it creates excellent feeling of perspective. Contrast and tones are great like in most of your B&W.

I dig bold geometry. The so called "black spots" add to strength of the image because it is harsh like the many rectangles and triangles as well as the implied hard surface of the steel. Also, it does give a 3d effect, as someone said previously, which makes it unique. Oh, and also, it foreshadows that black hole further down the road.

Perfect symmetry, great geometric lines, wonderfull tonal range, absolutely lovely light, you caught that just right, and a fine example of perspective. Wonderfully wrought.
