I  do love the tones and the composition. I love how there is no (or seemingly no) connection between the 2 subjects. I just wish it was a touch sharper.

David, Michael, and Dana - I might try adding sharpness but I fear there was just a bit too little depth-of-field. There are a couple of other compositions in the folder that include the paddle which are sharper.
