One Ball High on the Big E

You really captured the feel and mood of the ocean!  Nice positioning of the horizon, and centering the subject is the perfect treatment for this photo. While the wake is not blown out or clipped, decreasing the highlights or whites in curves in PS or in LR would  probably reveal additional detail adding to the turbulent feel of the water as it churned up. 

Your shot here of the "Big E" looks like it came right out of one of the "Cruise Books" that were available at times.

I spent some time on the Enterprise in the early 70's during the "pull-out" of Viet Nam. I was a Hospital Corpsman assigned to a Surgical Support Team which was TAD. Quite an experience as my first deployment in the Navy!

Fond memories, . . . No! But, I do like your shot here. I was a crewmember for a couple of Medi-vacs in a UH-1 and remember seeing a few scarce moments like this! No time and No Camera though!
