Linda, they look so unified as one at first glance like a human butterfly. intriguing luminosity, lovely stance. I like the b&w, background, square framing filling the darkness with gossamer light   Regards

Thank you for your lovely comment. I was so lucky to be walking past them as they began their performance in the grass. With the sun behind them, illuminating their white costumes, they were breathtaking as they struck one beautiful pose after another.

Your beautiful black and white pays homage to the beauty of the dance position you've captured. The black background makes it pop and seems very appropriate to the subject and wanting that sense of shape and isolation.

Thank you! This was one of those serendipitous moments, they started to dance just when I happened to be walking past them in the park. I was so happy I had my camera with me. A good reminder to never leave home without it.

Great lighting and contrast Linda. All the other superlatives have been stated are so true. Like butterflies about to fly there's a certain grace and even sensuousness about the image. Great imho. So nice to see you back on PN.

Best Always,

Holger

The stance seems almost regal and kind of reminds me of the very collectible Vintage Rolls Royce car hood ornaments. Great choice of B & W it really gives the image a "classic" quality.

Great to see you posting again Linda!

Compliments!
