An interesting take on 19th century Americana, your antique treatment is spot on.  The subjects appear to be waiting for the Earps and the Clantons to appear from the image's right side, guns blazing.

After the American Civil War, estimates of 700,000 men lost their

life’s in the war. What statistics fails to elaborate is the men who

returned from the war with missing limbs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Because of the small population if the United States back then a

women after the war found it difficult to find a “whole man”. This

woman was lucky, she found a complete man
