Large view preferred. This image might also be classified as a

documentary because the journey and the impact of the railway on

the daily lives of people and the economy of the towns through which

the train goes may be more important than the image quality of the

photos. This perspective is for rail fans who, as I, enjoy standing on

the end car of the train shooting photos. This flat desert land is over

12,000 feet elevation. Your visits and comments are appreciated.

I tend to like simplicity in photos. It does not need to be complicated to be effective and wonderful. The detail here is very, very good. I want to see what is off in the distance. I like this a lot. Thank You for sharing.

Peter,  Thanks for your visit and comment.  Simplicity is the word.  Images like this may not get much attention, yet this one works for me too.  It is taken from the rear of a fast moving train on a high plain about 12,000 ft. elevation between Puno and Hulicaca, Peru.   Thanks again.  Larry
