I generally like the work I've seen of yours. This one is problematic, IMO, in that the shadowing just feels kind of awkward. The harsh thicker band across her torso just doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the image. I like the way her right hand is held within the shadow, but the shadow itself is bulky and heavy, making it look more like the shadow of a pregnant woman than conforming to the shape of your model herself. I like the way her hair is lit and her face is lit mysteriously enough to be intriguing. In short, there's sensuality here, but it seems not fully realized.

Love the play between light and shadow. Congrats.

Fred may have a point (or two.) However, I do like this.

Yes, I might have been a little heavy handed with the shadow here. I'll revisit this and see if a little adjustment might not help.
