I love the informality of this. Her expression has been captured masterfully.

Wonderful!!

Excellent image (pose and composition), but excessive contrast. Softer lighting would have made it more pleasing. I'm no expert in artificial lighting, but probably what is missing is a fill-in soft box on the right.

Suggestive and provoking, the harsh light playing with the dark is a "touch" with your signature, no doubts. The sense of motion, her body language and enigmatic facial expression are beyond the pure technique. Very clever use of the empty black space. Chapeau, Jim, this is a remarkable work.

I am pleased you had a chance to work with her. She is a favorite of mine.

 

I love the lighting and use of deep shadows. It enhances both the pose and shape. I look forward to seeing what else you two did together.
