Tuberous Begonia

I was drawn to the rich monochromatic palette of the flower & the

texture of the inner petals. Comment appreciated.

Red is ALWAYS a winner and your composition is too.  You achieved your goal of making the viewer be drawn to the same things you saw.  

This is a very beautiful composition.The flower is well placed on the frame,and the details of the leavea are looking like engraved,on the  the lower  red BG. I wonder how the whole  frame is red, as the BG looks as a  part of the flower? Anyway it is a real artistic photo.I take it to my collection!

Pnina - The background is part of the flower. This was a stacked image of 6 images from the series. All I did was add a curve layer & a bit of an unsharpening mask.
