Sun Sets on Puno Perú

This image must be viewed larger to get the correct colors. My

uploading color frustration continues. Puno is a high desert city on

LakeTiticaca, the highest lake in the world at over 12, 500 ft.

elevation and the largest in South America. While the city is not

picturesque, shines in the early evening. Your comments and

critiques are valued and appreciated. Thanks. Larry

Phillip,  Thanks for your visit and comment.  These images were fun to take as I had a chance to get out at sundown, although it got quite cold when the sun faded.  Puno is not an attractive city, so I was pleased to see how this image, processed as an HDR, pops.  Best to you.  Larry

Beautiful and other-worldly. The softness of the  pale blue water, the million little dots of light on the hills and the amazing yellow hue of the clouds at sunset make this  photo that is not only pleasing to look at but not easily forgotten. Well done.
