huckcarrollphotography 0 Posted June 17, 2014 Intriguing pose, but spoiled by overly contrasty light. The harsh light on the left side of her face distorts her left left eye. I think that you could rein in the contrast and have a lovely picture.I like the line of her left arm and the turn of her shoulders. It is a strong pose, but two things bother me, aside from the contrast. #1 Her right hand – semi closed hands tend to look like claws, especially when you can see the strong white background between the fingers. #2 Her base – is she standing on a pedestal or a dinner plate? If it is a pedestal, I would like to see more of it. If it is a dinner plate – well, she would probably make a tasty dish. Link to comment
color 3 Posted June 21, 2014 I sacrificed detail in the left side of her face when I made this a high contrast image. And you're right about the claw hand. I'm still pretty inexperienced as far as posing and didn't catch that. Link to comment
