Although I do appreciate your providing feedback on this image, your comments are too cryptic for me to get anything out of them.  Can you please elaborate?

1. too many objects, with questionable composition

2. I can not say whether this is street photo, or portrait, and although I am not puritan in this matter, it is hard to focus on anything "major" on this frame

3. depth of field seems to be not right, thus making in hard for viewer to follow.

4. BW is strange

5. and most of all - feeling. I got none out of this frame.

Thanks, Boris.  Although I'm not sure I agree with some of your criticisms, I appreciate them nonetheless.

Inasmuch as all of your feedback is negative and not at all constructive,  I decided to respond point by point.

(1) The subject of the photo is the young lady in the foreground.  Since she is clearly identifiable, the other "objects" behind her are irrelevant.

(2) Look at the image again. The location is a sidewalk in New York City, and there are human subjects occupying that location.  The image, therefore, falls into the category of street photography, whether or not you like the image.

(3) I agree that less DOF may have placed more emphasis on the subject.  Nonetheless, since she is clearly in the foreground alone, I don't understand why you say the viewer has a "hard time to follow.

(4) BW is strange?  Whether to convert a color image to black & white was simply a decision based on personal preference.  Since you never saw the original color version, you really have no basis for this comment.

(5) Sorry you got no feeling from this image.  Some of that may be my fault; but the rest is how you viewed it."
