Just a number!

Wonderful, Laurent, and very different from most f your work which is far more pictorial, I think. Maybe my view is influenced by a documentary I was just watching on the life of the painter, Lucien Freud, but this has a very lively painterly quality. The reflections of the boat in the water could almost be impressionistic brush strokes.

Opportunities for what I usually shoot have not been that great lately and with the usual spring chores,a little less time.Here,a walk around the deserted wharf can reveal some good stuff.Thank you for the kind reference to that most illustrious work for this modest take.
