This flock of bustards (outardes) came straight at me and obviously

did not spot me.As they flew over very low,the noise of the wing flap

Such a great shot, it is such a memorable experience to see birds on the wing in such numbers and in such a formation.  You have probably tried cropping lower to highlight the birds in the upper area, rather than halfway ?  My feeling is that there may be too much of the blue sky and clouds above.  The real interest and focus is the lower area.

I tried different crops as you note and you are right that cropping tighter would bring the focus on the flight;I guess I just focused on the good sky as they have been rather few this spring.Thank you for looking in and for the suggestion.
