coat like a ... tuxedo (to me).

Stunning capture. These little Puffins are one my favorite birds. They are very elegant and photogenic. The way i see it they are also very cooperative too for posing.

Thanks Andy! It's my first time ever to be on an bird sanctuary island and first time ever to see them so close up(last year I did see a few in Alaska in the water) from the blind (more like a little closet with small windows to look at the birds).

Very nice composition and quite unusual ... normally don't see this type of grouping ... I like it!

Thanks J! The blind is no more than 3 feet from the top tip of the rock and these fellows all compete to get to the top of the rock (obscure by the birds now)  and flex their wings and then takes off.  On this occasion, they for some reason all climbed up and hung out for a little while.
