Good even lighting on this one. Next time you might think about not placing the subject directly in the center of the frame, but  in this case it's ok.

Thanks for your thoughts, Harry.  My placement of my subjects is always quite intentional.  I favor a central placement when the shot is straight on, direct like this one.  I only wish I had him centered in the sidewalk a bit more, but then again, it was a spontaneously done shot and with kids you don't do a lot of direction before losing their interest.  Placing people to one side or the other is somewhat of a cliche and often overused and unimaginative.  All the elements of the total image have to be considered in the composition.
