She's a real "peach" ;-) and so is the capture!  I like how you've caught the perceived attitude of each bird, one being bossy and the other in a somewhat... ok dude, just chill.  Excellent lighting control and detail as well... Mike

"... and you won't believe what she said next!" Those two crack me up. Great capture, Richard.

Great color and detail not to mention the hilarious dialogue Richard. A fine capture of nature at its most revealing.

Best,

Holger

I told you to take care of the egg, she said, but nooooooo, you had to fly around to see your other friends. :))

Great timing, beautiful birds, excellent colors. Bravo!

Timing is perfect , as well as very well observed and composed!

They do look as though they are in conversation. Excellent details on the birds and unusual POV. Very well done.

A search through my 'Peterson's Eastern Birds" field guide book failed to identify these birds.  You've captured them nicely, whatever they are.  I particularly like the animation displayed here, one bird seemingly being overwhelmed by the other's vocalization. Bumps the shot up a notch, and another notch for the great exposure & overall contrast.  The food source, with it's central position and bright colour is also a plus.  You have to be pleased with this result.  I would have printed it were it mine.  Best, LM.
