Due to a Broken Shoulder (April 26th) I have not been online - still

hurts to use computer and just figures it was my right shoulder. I've

tried to take a few pics using my Tripod. This little fella got separated

from it's Mom yesterday. I felt so sorry for this little babe. It was not

long before Mom appeared, so I ended this Photo Session quickly. I

hope to be online soon to do Comments etc. I apologise for my

absence! This certainly isn't how I'd hoped to start my Spring Photo

Shooting, but 'life' sends us all on a little 'curve' at times. I am

missing my time spent here. Hopefully I will mend quickly :-D (any

visits and/or comments are much appreciated, Gail)

A fresh Gail from the north in the person of cool bird from the fall (at least that's my guess from the color of the leaves). Awfully nice to see you back on site.

Just read your comment on this picture. Sorry to hear you busted your shoulder. It's one thing to have to put up with the pain but not being able to use your computer...wow, I can't begin to imagine what that must have been like. Still everything passes in the river of time, the bad as well as the good. Looks like you'll be back to your old self soon enough. Ganbatte!

Dear Gail, First and foremost is get well soon. Your picture is great, the reddish leaves surrounding this little guy to a natural framing job. The clear details are a pleasure to view. Looks like you didn't miss a step. Again, a speedy recovery.

Best Always,

First, i wish you a speedy and full recovery.

This little fellow give you the chance to shine and shine you did!

Stunning, the Red Japanese Maple is framing and contrasting the scene perfectly. The details of the bird the DOF all works together well.

The way he looks at you just melts my heart.

My camera is still in the hospital - 56th day - so i know how you feel when can't go out and shot your favorite subjects.

My complements. 7/7

Best wishes.

My sincere appreciation for each visit, comment and all the good wishes. I am not able to respond to each comment, I apologise. Still having trouble with right hand. It is going to be a lengthy recovery, but I am determined to enjoy the summer and take images as best I can. I see the surgeon this week - no doubt he will have a lot more exercises for me to start doing. Such good friends, your kind words warm my heart and encourage me as I 'heal'.

the best to each one always, Gail

Hi Gail. A beautiful image with wonderful colors. I like the composition, the detail of the plumage, and all these red leaves that serve to frame the image in a natural and artistic way. Nice work!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

My apologies for being so long in getting back to you. I appreciate your kind words. The bird was sitting on a bottom branch of a Japanese Maple we have in our front garden. Just a little 'tyke'. I enjoyed my time trying to get a few captures:) Gail
