I like it..simple, very good. Somebody may think it's boring, but who cares... I was thinking about a small crop from bottom, to get the horizon in the middle of the frame.

Thor,

very nice image, however, it needs  a target for the eye to follow such as a boat, bird, etc

A bit different than some others that I have seen in color ... but the subtle shades still work ... I like it :-)

Beautiful image! I am drawn in by the colors and love the subtle blues and greens. I also appreciate the stripes - OK, horizontal elements - the beach, the zone of surf, the blue-green ocean and the overcast sky. The swirling waves keep it from being boring. Finally, I am glad it is boat-less. It allows the eye to wander and explore rather than being drawn to one particular part. In some images a distinct focal point is needed. Here, I think, it would distract from the openness of the sea.

Well done!

I was looking for something original and new.  This is it.  Really like the subtlety of it and the touch of green. Can't agree with Timo about putting horizon in middle of frame.

Wasn't sure that square is the best way of presentation, but then maybe part of me is still conservative.   Starting to appreciate the square look here.  Will come back and view again.

Well done indeed !

Really nice! I see an s-shape in the water before it hits the sand. The comments about square and cropping are interesting. A little bit of a crop in the sky would give it a more 3:2 ratio and would present quite a different photo.
