A CLIP ROUND THE EAR

I like the amber tone of this piece, it does give it a vintage feel. I like the Bobbie with his back towards us, representing an authority figure and the citizen appearing to be in distress, very nicely put together.

Like out of a movie, but the real thing. Quite unique and different, as your very personal stamp of all of your work. Unusual situation where the subjects seem to interact but yet they appear not to. And yes, the tweaking with some tonality departing BW enhances this great photograph. Congratulations.

I like the composition. The absence of distracting elements lets the viewer focus on what is in the image and imagine the story behind it.

The effects also work well.

If one is to nitpick I would go for a little less dof (blurring out the background ever so slightly) and having the rear wheel of the bicycle included totally in the image.

But as I said, just as it is, it is a great image.
