I visited the local roller derby girls tonight. Got a couple of good

shots. I tried a few different processing approaches. This low res,

sepia version looked the best to me.

This is very good, Chuck; I like her resolute expression and the sense of movement as she sweeps around the turn. The rough handling of the picture fits the tenor of the scene perfectly - the worn, scratched surface of the tracks and the overall well-used feeling of the building - and adds an almost documentary sense of the moment, putting us right in the action here and now.

What a great environmental portrait (my favorite kind).  The processing suits the subject very well, and I love the way the lighting brings out the scratches in the floor and also throws that shadow of your subject to help fill in the space to the right.  Her pose and expression are excellent.  I bet she was thrilled with the result!  

Very good composition and processing. You did an excellent job on this one. I really like her expression - she means business! Thank you for sharing. :)
