her laugh to tears.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Is she laughing with your other laughing smoker?  You have done well to capture such emotion in both shots. :-)

This lady just proved it again: it doesn't matter where you live or how poor or rich you are if you can laugh this happily and freely you are in the right place.

It is a great shot my friend, i wish i could laugh like she can.

My complements.

You are right! That I wore a beard and had what they considered a long/thin nose made me into a definite curiosity to these kind people whom willingly posed for these impromptu shots. As you can imagine,I got a lot more that just images from these encounters.

These two shots are from different villages,he from the mountain, she from the coast but both with the same 'joie de vivre' and good humour of these kind people.I have more of these in my portfolio and many more negatives/prints waiting their turn at the scanner if I ever find the time.Thank you for the appreciation.

Thank you kindly. As I did not master the language,it was surely not what I told her that generated the laugh but maybe a comment from others whom were around.

Thank you kindly. This is a scan off an almost 20 year old print;I had done a B/W conversion but the harsh midday light did not help.I attach to see what you think.

I have been advised that this image has been voted the winner amongst the quality shots submitted in this ''Emotion'' contest.I am delighted with the prize lense that comes with the win but equally so that the image has caught the keen eye of the talented members of this site.I wish I could share this moment with the nice lady whom,in our brief encounter, flashed that good laugh that I was fortunate enough to seize.

Merci beaucoup-Laurent
